How It WorksA Smarter Way to Sell with Confidence
Selling your home is a major financial decision. We want you to feel confident that you understand every detail of your sale and lease agreement.
That's why we've partnered with Cambridge Credit Counseling, a government-certified, HUD-approved nonprofit, to provide an independent financial counseling session as part of our process.
The counselor conversation is mandatory but waivable and completely free of charge. Including this as part of your home sale process is an important part of Truehold's commitment to making every customer feel informed and secure in their transaction.

you'll fully understand the details of your transaction.

Once your home has passed inspection and your transaction is qualified, a HUD-certified financial counselor will contact you to schedule a brief call.
During the session, the counselor will walk you through the key details of your sale and lease agreement, ensuring everything is clear.
Once the call is completed, you'll confirm whether you'd like to move forward with the transaction or discuss any remaining questions with your Truehold representative.

We strongly encourage all customers to complete this step, but we understand that circumstances vary.

However, participation is waivable. If a seller prefers not to complete the session, they can sign a formal waiver acknowledging their choice to opt out.
